PhotoView is a simple photo viewer that allows you to view your digital images very easily. You simply have to select the folder that contains the pictures you wish to see and then use hotkeys to switch the photos. You can also do that using the View menu, which allows you to view the next and preview image, go back 10 pictures, go forward 10 pictures, view the first image and last image. You can also view the photos in fullscreen if you want.
The program allows you to associate it with specific file types, although it only offers two - namely, bmp and jpeg. It would be great if it showed the images like in a slideshow, so you wouldn't have to do anything, just view the presentation. It also lacks zooming, rotation, and printing options, which are features commonly found in most viewers. The user interface is extremely easy to use, but not really attractive since it looks a bit old. Maybe, that's why it lacks all those options.
In short, PhotoView is really a very simple photo viewer which cannot compete with the great variety of better viewers you can find out there.
